"Contemporary Architecture" or how look like "the extensions" - a much-discussed subject that causes the dissatisfaction of many inhabitants and the astonishment of many guests of the capital.
The image "City of White Stone" of Chisinau is badly damaged today because of the unauthorized buildings and annexes that represent a total architectural chaos.
Even if the legality of these annexes is a very big problem, in this article we will try to see the impact of these unauthorized constructions on the image of Chisinau.
Every sector of Chisinau is “proud” with residential building that have annexes without taking into account the architectural aspect of the city.
The most problematic blocks you can see below.
Annexes in Botanica
Most annexes are in Botanica. The streets such as Belgrad, Brancusi, Cetatea Alba are the most "popular" with annexes.
Annexes in the Buiucani
In Buiucani, most annexes are located on Alba Iulia avenue, Sucevita and Calea Iesilor street.
Annexes in Ciocana
The Ciocana is also highlighted by several blocks of flats that are populated in "annexes". Maria Dragan Street is one of the most affected areas.
Annexes in Râşcani
In Râşcani, most annexes can be found on Andrei Doga Street.
There are certainly many other blocks with annexes and consoles. We will add their photos in this article to monitor how things develop in time.
