5550 properties purchased through the "Prima Casa" program

From the establishment of the project until today, 5550 people have benefited from the national program "Prima Casa". This means that during the years 2018-2021, 5550 owners "stepped with the right foot" in their new home!

According to the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Moldova, the total amount of loans granted by banks reaches 2.8 billion lei, the total value of active guarantees reaching 1.4 billion lei.

In this context, from the state budget foreseen for the compensations aiming at the partial coverage of the expenses borne by the beneficiaries, 42.3 million lei were allocated.

Statistical data on state budget compensations under the Prima Casa program, as follows:

• 990 persons benefit from compensations from the state budget within the Prima Casa 2 program (budgetary workers, the state compensates up to 50% of the total amount of the amount borrowed),
• 2401 people receive compensation under the Prima Casa 3 program (families with children),
• 790 people receive compensation under the Prima Casa 4 program,
• 15 people receive compensation under the Prima Casa 5 program.

Beneficiary profile:

• The average age of the applicants is 31.4 years.
• The average value of purchased homes is 605.16 thousand lei.

Distribution by area and type of property:

• Out of the total number of purchased dwellings, 5191 are located in urban areas and 359 - in rural areas
• 5078 purchased properties are apartments, and 472 are individual dwellings.

We must highlight that the beneficiary of the national program "Prima Casa" can be any citizen of the Republic of Moldova aged between 18 and 50 years at the time of applying for a mortgage.

The credit applicant must be officially employed, in the public or private sector in the Republic of Moldova, and, respectively, have income from official sources.
